- Eligibility:
The Equity Advocate Grant Competition (“Competition”) is open to individuals holding the following or related job titles within organizations (for-profit or non-profit) in the United States:
- Chief People Officer
- Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
- Learning and Development Manager
- HR Director
- Director of Employee Engagement
- Head of Talent Management
- Chief Human Resources Officer
- Vice President of Learning and Development
- Chief Diversity Officer
- Organizational Development Specialist
- Employee Experience Manager
- DEI Program Manager
- Director of HR Operations
- Head of Culture and Engagement
- HR Business Partner
- Learning Experience Designer
- Inclusion and Diversity Coordinator
- Employee Relations Manager
- Leadership Development Specialist
- Employee Resource Group Leader
- Entry:
Participants may either nominate themselves or be nominated by someone else who believes they are eligible for the competition. Nominations must be submitted through the official Equity Advocate Grant Competition application form. Submissions must be received by Wednesday, January 31, 2024 at 11:59pm ET.
- Prizes:
- First Prize: One (1) selected Equity Advocate will receive a Leadership Strategy package from WRK valued at $15,000. This package includes four (4) sessions with BREAKTHRU Brands that delivers a personalized leadership brand and four (4) individual coaching sessions to activate leadership strategy
- Runner Up: One (1) selected Equity Advocate will receive a complimentary 75-minute LinkedIn 1:1 session.
- Selection Process:
All eligible nominations will be reviewed by a panel of judges selected by WRK.
The panel will evaluate nominations based on the nominee’s impact in promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion within their organization, as well as the potential for the Leadership Strategy package to benefit the nominee’s career development.
The judges’ decisions are final.
- Notification:
Selected Equity Advocates will be notified via email the week of February 12, 2024. Winners must complete their Leadership Strategy or workshops by July 1, 2024.
- Marketing and Promotion:
By submitting an application, participants consent to receive periodic updates, newsletters, and communications from WRK and BREAKTHRU Brands regarding our services, initiatives, and promotions. Applicants may opt-out of receiving such communications at any time by following the provided unsubscribe instructions.
When selected to participate in the Equity Advocate Grant Competition, you grant WRK and BREAKTHRU Brands permission to use your name, likeness, photograph, biographical information, and nomination content for marketing, promotional, and advertising purposes, without further compensation.
