June 24, 2024, Decatur GA – WRK, a trusted agency built to maximize human potential, is thrilled to introduce our newest intern for Summer 2024, Kennedy Todd-Williams. Kennedy’s enthusiasm align perfectly with WRK’s mission to empower individuals at various stages of their careers. Kennedy, a standout women’s basketball player from the University of Mississippi felt inspired to join the WRK team after participating in Meta’s NIL 3.0 Empower Program. She believes that the WRK Internship Program will offer her invaluable insights and help her grow both personally and professionally.
Originally from Jacksonville, North Carolina, she is currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration after a four-year career at the University of North Carolina. When she’s not on the court or hitting the books, Kennedy enjoys shopping, golfing, and listening to audiobooks.
Kennedy is dedicated and ready to put in the effort to gain the best experience possible during her internship this summer. She looks forward to connecting with great people and building lasting relationships, contributing to WRK’s initiatives, and taking another step toward her ambitious career goals.

What are you most excited about learning or experiencing during your internship?
I am most excited about learning how to make meaningful connections and network effectively. I look forward to working on the marketing side of the internship, utilizing and enhancing my skills. Additionally, I am eager to learn about the behind-the-scenes operations of a small business, as I aspire to have my own business someday.
What are your career goals and aspirations?
My career goals include becoming an entrepreneur. I would like to work as an agent representing athletes and/or entertainers. I am also interested in marketing and working on sports campaigns.
How do you think this internship will help you achieve your career goals?
This internship will provide me with a comprehensive understanding of how to manage a business. I expect to learn valuable networking skills and the art of maintaining professional relationships, which are crucial for my future career aspirations.
Who is your favorite athlete or sports team and why?
My favorite athlete is Kyrie Irving. I admire the way he conducts himself both on and off the court. He is a class act and uses his platform to advocate for causes he believes in. On the court, his playing style is mesmerizing; he is a magician with the ball, and I thoroughly enjoy watching him play.
What’s your favorite book, movie, or TV show and why?
My favorite audiobook is “The Power of Your Subconscious Mind.” I enjoyed this book because it promotes a healthy mindset and offers practical self-improvement tips. It has been instrumental in helping me stay tuned with myself during challenging times.
