If you grew up in a church community, you know it shapes how you see the world. That was certainly true for me.

I grew up in Jonesboro, Georgia, raised by a Haitian mother whose rhythm of life could be summed up in three words: Legliz, Lekòl, Lakay—Church, School, Home. We were deeply rooted at St. Philip Benizi Catholic Church, a diverse and welcoming community where I learned early what it meant to serve others, show up for people, and live with purpose.

I spent as much time at church as I did in school, and for a long time, I thought I’d grow up to be a youth minister like my mentor, Mark Tolcher. Many of my closest friends followed that path—serving in full-time ministry, leading youth groups, and helping people navigate life through faith.

Me? I took a different route.

After high school, I joined the U.S. Air Force. I didn’t go into ministry—but I never left it either. From coaching youth on the court to mentoring professionals in the workplace, I’ve always felt called to pour into others. I’ve led in spaces where titles mattered and in ones where presence mattered more. And through it all, I’ve tried to lead with grace, compassion, and an understanding that every person’s journey is sacred.

Today, I coach leaders. Some are navigating strategy and performance reviews. Others are navigating purpose and burnout. Some work in business. Some work in ministry. What I’ve found is—regardless of the setting—people want to be seen, supported, and reminded that their work matters.

That’s where my faith shows up in coaching. Not in preaching or quoting scripture—but in listening well, creating space for reflection, and honoring the humanity in every leader I serve.

I believe that coaching is a form of ministry. It’s one of the ways I live out my calling.

If you’re in ministry, leadership, or somewhere in between, I hope you know: this space is for you, too. Whether you’re navigating a tough decision, trying to balance it all, or just need space to breathe—I’m here to walk with you.

No judgment. Just presence.

Let’s lead with purpose, together.
