According to Scott Geary, a seasoned leader in the golf industry, a passion for golf can drive significant social impact by creating programs that connect the game to broader community goals. He highlights the importance of initiatives like PGA HOPE for veterans and partnerships aimed at introducing young girls to golf. These efforts enhance inclusivity, create career opportunities, and build stronger community ties through the game. By strategically engaging with communities and focusing on impactful programs, golf can transcend its traditional role and become a catalyst for positive change.
